I was doing more research on schools that used to be located in the original boundaries of Fall Creek Township in Henry County Indiana.
I found a school that I was not aware of. The name was the Bristol School. It was located west of Middletown near the intersection of Mechanicsburg Road and SR 236. The original Bristol School was a wooden one room building and is recorded as being used from 1857-1896.
A new building was constructed in 1896. It was used until the new joint school in Middletown was finished in 1915.
This township school building was sold at an auction, by the school trustees in 1919. John Prigg purchased the school building for $555.
Two photos with persons identified were found relating to the Bristol School.
